Pinta Education Limited

Pinta is focused on ICT, specifically Software Engineering.  We work alongside organisations interested in furthering the cause of other engineering disciplines and technology in the UK and worldwide.

We are proud to announce that we have become business partners of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). Worldwide membership of the IET exceeds 150, 000 members. Our MD is a Fellow of the IET.  Thus, you can be assured that our values and working practices follow professional and ethical codes of conduct at the highest levels.

From the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)

The IET is a world-leading professional organisation which promotes the exchange of information and ideas for the advancement of science, engineering and technology worldwide. Our members develop skills through professional development and professional registration. They appreciate the strength and support that their IET membership provides in a professional and personal capacity.

The Engineering Council was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1981 to regulate the engineering profession in the UK. The IET is licensed by the Engineering Council UK to award the internationally-recognised qualification; Chartered Engineer. Professional registration is a formal recognition that you have met the standards of knowledge, understanding and competence set by the Engineering Council.

Chartered Engineer (CEng) is aimed at all engineers who have the ability to develop appropriate solutions to engineering problems, using new and existing technologies through innovation, creativity and change.

The other levels of registration are ICT Technician and Incorporated Engineer.

What we do

Pinta provides training and consultancy in ICT software development and quality assurance.  Our focus is on equipping you for the current day-job whilst keeping an eye on the future of ICT, to ensure that your resumé is the one that stands out from the rest.

We have worked extensively with the IET to create a programme of learning and development to allow participants to aim for the highest levels of recognition possible worldwide, for the work being carried out at the time.  The programmes have been designed with you as a well-rounded professional in mind. To compete effectively, we feel that it is important to be able to demonstrate real understanding of how your day-to-day activities contribute to meeting the needs of the triple bottom line - People; Planet and Profit.

Our IET programmes are competency-based.  We adopt a top-down approach to learning.  We teach you the basics, show you a realistic and live example, then re-engineer to show you how it was created.  All-too-often classroom training in ICT limits itself to (over) simplified examples, leaving you to tackle real-world issues yourself. We will challenge you of course, but only once we have taught you.

We also offer very short courses (3 and 5 days) from the BCS and iSQI on software testing.  In addition, we have created our own short course for those procuring ICT software systems.
